Overview of the daily schedule and routines

 

Our daily routines are flexible and responsive to the needs of individual children. However, a typical day might look as follows:

 

Morning arrival and Breakfast: Children arrive between 06h30 and 08h00 and have breakfast.

 

Free play: Children engage in independent or small group play activities.

 

Circle time: We gather for songs, stories, and discussions, promoting language, social interaction, confidence, and emotional connection.

 

Activity of the day: We find a comfortable place around our centre to carry out the planned activity as per the weekly theme. 

 

Outdoor play: We spend a significant portion of the day outdoors, fostering physical activity, nature exploration, and sensory experiences.

 

Snack time and lunch: We enjoy healthy meals and snacks together, providing opportunities for social interaction and learning about healthy eating habits.

Quiet time or nap time: Children have time to rest and recharge in a calm and relaxing environment.

 

Afternoon free play and activities: Children revisit morning activities, explore new materials, or participate in teacher-led group activities.

 

Departure: Children say goodbye and leave between 13h00 and 17h30
